Motor Winding Resistance Tester
The Motor Winding Resistance Tester is used for measuring the values of individual windings of rotors of permanent magnet DC motors. The system automatically measures the resistance of each winding in a sequence and compares the results with preset limits to decide Pass/Fail criteria of motor. It can carry out tests in Loop Mode or Cross Mode. It is a universal test system, capable of testing any motor having up to 13 windings. The system is supplied with a custom test fixture which helps to perform tests and maintain test integrity.

  • Uses Kelvin's 4-wire principle of resistance measurement. Rotor resistance as low as 0.1 ohm can be measured with an accuracy of 5%
  • Settings for up to 10 different types of motors can be pre-loaded in the tester
  • 4x16 character alphanumeric LCD display for showing test sequence, settings, Pass/Fail status and results
  • LED indication for Pass/Fail
  • Foot switch port
  • In-built buzzer to give audio alarm in case of test fail
  • Software utility that allows user to program test settings using a PC and download them into the tester
