Earth Fault Relay Test System
The Earth Fault Relay Test System is designed to test Hall-effect based Earth Fault Relays installed on the DC link of traction converters used in Metro Rails. It consists of a 2.2 kV, 5 kW DC power supply to simulate the DC link voltage. The system allows the user to manually create a fault condition on the DC link for monitoring the trip performance of Earth Fault Relays.
