MVT 100C and C+
MVT 100C Series are a new generation of highly portable and easy-to-use SMPS-based continuous current contact resistance meters for measuring resistances of various test objects in live switchyards up to 800 kV. MVT injects current up to 100 A through the device under test and measures the micro-ohm resistances accurately, even in noisy switchyard conditions. Thus, MVT is an ideal preventive maintenance tool for measuring critical resistances.
MVT consists of a 20×4 line LCD for displaying the injection current, voltage drop and measured resistance in real-time. It uses Kelvin's 4-wire principle for current injection and voltage measurement for accurate contact resistance measurements. The built-in thermal printer prints the test results with date and time stamps immediately after completing the test (only available in MVT 100C+).
