Transducers and Fixtures
We offer custom-designed fixtures compatible with circuit breakers manufactured by ABB, CG, L&T, Schneider, Siemens, Toshiba, and other brands. Furthermore, we tailor these test fixtures to ensure they are suitable for mounting on circuit breakers of any design.
The transducer is responsible for measuring contact travel and related parameters, including contact speed or velocity, contact gap, snatch gap, wipe gap, bounces, bounce duration, rebound, rebound duration, over travel, and over travel duration. Linear travel measurements are expressed in millimetres, while rotary or angular travel measurements are represented in degrees.
We utilise either a resistive transducer or a more precise laser transducer for linear travel measurements. On the other hand, rotary travel measurements employ either a resistive transducer or an encoder for enhanced accuracy.
